The DV6001 is capable of delivering an upscaled 1080p video signal, the maximum High Definition resolution possible, providing the ultimate match for the latest HD-ready screens and projectors. This is comes via state-of-the-art video scaling circuitry, which also allows upsampling to 720p, 1080i and 1080p.
The DV6001 combines this high quality video and audio performance with ultimate versatility, replaying as it does audiophile quality formats such as SACD and DVD-Audio, as well as DVD-Video with Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound in either two channel or multi-channel formats, along with DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/ RW and CD-R/RW. The design is also compatible with the latest video and audio compression technologies, including the MP3, WMA, JPEG and DivX formats.
Underlining the DV6001's universal tag and its emphasis on great music replay is an extremely high-quality, low jitter 24-bit/192kHz audio DAC used across every channel from respected manufacturer Cirrus Logic.
